Creamed honey, also called spun or set honey, is our most popular variety by far! Creamed honey is prepared by us, undergoing an extensive churning in a specialized stainless steel water jacketed tank with a ‘creamer' paddle attachment, then ‘cured’ at low temperature for weeks. This process results in honey that is finely granulated, making it spreadable. Same Amazing Grace Ladue honey, but with a delicious texture. honey has a very light appearance and flavor. We extract and bottle without any pressure filtering or heating, either of which will affect the natural antimicrobial properties of honey.

Creamed honey is shelf-stable, but if exposed to hot temperatures, creamed honey will re-liquefy.
